Post 127 strikes first with a run in the second and third innings before Garner strikes back with 4 in their half of the third, helped by three Duplin miscues. Zach McDowell leads off with a single and is moved to second on Landon Adams ground out and scores on Lee Dickens grounder which is misplayed. Terry’s single drives in two and Zach Furl drives in another for a 4-2 lead, to chase the Duplin starter. In the fourth, Adams doubles and scores on Creech’s RBI single. Garner plates three the fifth when Adams drives two with a triple, scoring Zach Furl and Kyle Canfield and Adams scores on Creech’s second RBI to make the score 8-2.
