Congratulations to the Trojan runners who competed in the Apex Relays on last Saturday . The boys all competed well in the relay events. The competition was so highly competitive that Garner relays place 3rd in their heat for boys 4x100 and 4x200 and still finished in 6th place overall .
Even though their times were their were very respectable .Its was a tremendous effort by all members of the team. However, Michelle Bailey continues to break her own records in the 1600 meter run. She finished with a time of 5:08 which is another Garner school record which she already owns. After the race she stated that before the end of the year her goal is to go under 5 minutes in the mile.
