Trojans Down Southeast on the Road

It would remain 1-1 until the sixth inning when Garner pushed across the winning runs with Jesse Fisher and Colin Perry on base, Trojan second basemen, Connor Torruella laced a two-run double to left center to give Garner a two run lead.

Matt Powell picked up the win in relief as he pitched for scoreless innings to strike out nine Bulldogs and keep Garner alive heading into a BIG Friday night show down at East Wake.

The Varsity Softball team also picked up a road win, scoring three runs in the first en route to a 8-1 win over the Bulldogs.
