Garner Trojans at East Wake Warriors

The Garner Trojans opened up GNRC play when they headed to East Wake to take on the Warriors. The Trojan Sports Network was there to bring you all the action. Kamphuis commits to the Trojans

Congratulations to Senior Brooke Kamphuis on her commitment to Mount Olive softball. Miss Kamphuis is an All-GNRC selection for the GNRC Champion Lady Trojans (16-3), hitting .440 with 23 runs scored and team low two K's in 50 at bats. Great job Miss Kamphuis! Go Trojans!

1955-1956 GHS Girls Basketball Team reunion planned

The 1955-1956 GHS Girls Basketball Team are looking for each other. The co-captains, Barbara Kelly and Hazel Stevens are seeking any information regarding their former team members. Any leads would be appreciated. Check with anyone especially grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers and fathers attending Garner High School during that period. The Garner Trojans welcome in the Enloe Eagles to Trojan Stadium Friday night. The Trojans Sports Network will take to the air at 6:30 with a LIVE WEBCAST  getting you set for a 7:00 kickoff!

Adams commits to the Seahawks

Congratulations to Lady Trojan soccer star Bayleigh Adams on her commitment to UNC Wilmington soccer. Miss Adams is a standout All-GNRC performer as a 3-year varsity starter. She tallied 37 points for the Trojans last season. Miss Adams is the daughter of Ronnie ('84) and Pam Atkins Adams ('83). Great job Miss Adams!

Garner vs. Cary

The Garner Trojans will welcome in the Cary Imps for Friday the 13th football tonight at Trojan Stadium. The Trojan Sports Network will take to the air at 6:30 on the LIVE WEBCAST! Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00. Hope you will join!

Trojan Club Passes Still Available

Trojan Club passes are still available for purchase. The pass entitles you to admission to all regular season home athletic events during the 2013-2014 school year. 

*Student Membership - $40 per year – GMHS student admission to all GMHS home sporting events for the 2013-2014 school year (excluding Endowment games and playoff events).

*Individual Membership - $75 per year – Individual admission to all GMHS home sporting events for the 2013-2014 school year (excluding Endowment games and playoff events), a Trojan apparel gift and voting privileges at the annual Trojan Club election meeting.

*Family Membership - $175 per year – Entitles a family of up to five admissions to all GMHS home sporting events for the 2013-2014 school year (excluding Endowment games and playoff events), a Trojan apparel gift and voting privileges at the annual Trojan Club election meeting.  For families larger than five, additional memberships may be purchased for $20 per family member. 

Memberships may be purchased and/or  picked up at the 1st home game of JV & Varsity Football, Soccer and Volleyball.  To mail payment, please make check payable to Garner Trojan Club and return with form to PO Box 594 Garner NC 27529.


  

Hines sets Trojan record with 7 touchdowns

Junior Nyheim Hines scores a school record 7TD's with 508 yards of total offense in the Trojans 58-10 win over Broughton. Hines finishes once short of the NCHSAA record in 3 qtrs of play. Senior Brighton Hudson leads the Trojans (2-1) with 11-12 passing for 326 yards and 4 TD's

Hines school record breaks Hall of Famer Anthony Barbour's 1987 record of six and just one short of the NCHSAA record held by 4 players. Hines has 13 TD's in 3 games, which is one better than the Garner record through three games (Barbour 1987). His 508 yards total offense (268 rush, 40 pass, 163 receiving and 37 returns) sets the school record (breaking his record of 471 from last week) as was his 44 points scored. Hines has 598 rushing & 1,252 yards of total offense through 3 games which leads the NC 4A so far this season.

The Trojans set a school record for total offense 731 yards for the night in their 26th straight home win at beautiful Trojan Stadium.
